Linda Marie (Nelson) Alexander was born on January 18, 1944 in Tulsa, Oklahoma the daughter of Harold Arthur Otto and Clara Marie (Davis) Nelson. She completed this life on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the age of 67.
Linda's moved with her family to Oklahoma City at a young age. She graduated from Northwest Classen High School in 1962. She went on to graduate from Oklahoma State University. While at O.S.U.. she met her husband, Frederick Rudolph Alexander, Jr. They made their home in Tulsa for many years. While in Tulsa she worked as an executive secretary for Nelson Electric Company and was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Fred on July 20, 2009. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey B. Alexander and his wife Stacy of Tulsa; her Grandchildren, Allyson, Brandon and Colin Alexander; her sister, Murlene Cousins and her husband Fred of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; and her brother, Harold Leroy Nelson of Kingston, Oklahoma.
A Memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 16th in the Ninde Brookside Chapel, 3841 S. Peoria. The Rev. Dr. William C. Mason will officiate. A private family inurnment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ardmore, Oklahoma.
