Obituary
Lawrence M. Morgan was born August 22, 1925 in Okemah, Oklahoma, to Wiley Argus and Ruby Elizabeth (Lawrence) Morgan. Lawrence passed from this life December 24, 2008 at the age of 83. Before his retirement Lawrence worked for Ross Martin as a printer. Following his retirement he worked as a volunteer for the Tulsa Police Department and the American Red Cross. He logged over 3,000 hours of volunteer service.
Lawrence is preceded in death by his wife, Violet (Hays) Morgan and survived by his daughter, Gayle Caldwell of Pryor, Oklahoma; his sons, David and his wife Juanita Morgan of Skiatook, Oklahoma and Dale Morgan of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; his brother Jack Morgan of Seguin, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
