Lawrence William "Chris" Christie age 98, lifelong resident of Tulsa died Tuesday at his residence.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. on the family plot in the Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Condon of Sandusky Avenue Christian Church officiating.
Chris was born on September 27, 1909 in Tulsa to John Lawrence and Myrtle Olive (Wyley) Christie. Chris owned and operated a small engine blade sharpening business for over 40 years in Tulsa.
He is survived by two sons, Robert Christie of Tulsa and Lawrence John Christie of Italy. He was preceded in death by his wife.
