Lawrence Brown

Lawrence Leon Brown was born September 6, 1933 in Jenks, Oklahoma the son of Walter Berry and Mildred (Creekmore) Brown. Mr. Brown worked as a janitor for 20 years and worked as a boilermaker for 20 years. He married Georgia Watson Brown in 1958 at the Jenks Methodist Church. She preceded him in death on September 21, 2006 after 48 years of marriage. He is survived by his daughters, Ralanda Marek of Jenks and Renee Everett of Tulsa; his son, Kelly Brown of Tulsa; his grandchildren, Heather Everett and Rachel Everett. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. in the Beaver Street Baptist Church in Jenks with Rev. Troy Hayes and Rev. Bob Atwood officiating. Interment will follow in the Bixby Cemetery in Bixby, Oklahoma.
