Laura Paige (Nightengale) Pass was born February 12, 1963, in Tulsa, OK to Wayne Eddie Nightengale & Dorothy Lucille (Sells) Nightengale-Griffin and passed from this life on December 26, 2022, at the age of 59.
Laura attended Memorial High School class of ’81. After meeting James Pass in 1982 they married September 10, 1983. After years away supporting her husband’s military career they returned to Oklahoma upon his retirement. Laura continued her love of gardening, embroidery and cooking. As a stay-at-home mother & grandmother, Laura devoted her time, love and energy to her family. You could always count on her for anything. Laura supported her children and grandkids in their activities, whether it was sports, band, swimming or just coloring. Her favorite hobby was creating memories with her family, the most important people in her life.
Preceded in death by her father, Laura is survived by her mother; her husband, James Wade Pass; her daughter and her son-in-law, Ashley Nicole & Jeffrey Oldham; her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Wayne & Amber Pass; her siblings and their spouses, Rhonda Walden, Regina & Geoff Allen, Wayne & Marisa Nightengale and Eddie Nightengale; and her grandchildren, Gavin Oldham, Emma Oldham, Jace Wayne Pass and Jaxon Wyatt Pass, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2023, at the Ninde Brookside Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to either Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at www.jdrf.org or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or Muscular Dystrophy Associations at www.mda.org

Laura,though you lived some distance away we didn’t visit often however we talked through emails pictures from you to me about the grand children(yours) my great grand children. or the weather hot or cold. I remember our first meeting James brought you home to meet us. Then later to the Airport to continue you journey. Then the trip for me to Oklahoma for your WeddingThrough the years for different occasions there were visits Life is not easy to live andharder to understand whey the good lord called you when he did. I know Laura from Wright Jr. High. If it weren’t for Facebook, I wouldn’t have known all of Laura’s wonderful qualities that she possessed. She was so dedicated to her family, especially her grandchildren! Laura’s life is a reminder of what is so important, to show love through hands on times shared with one another. There isn’t a shred of doubt of her unconditional love for her loved ones! She often posted pictures of her sweet grandchildren sleeping over, so incredibly sweet❣️I will miss her bright, positive light she shone! Praying for strength and healing during such a difficult, tragic time🙏🏻
