Obituary
Laura Louise Snyder was born on March 9, 1948, in Wichita, Kansas to Listin & Laura Onstott. She joined her heavenly father on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at the age of 67.
Laura’s most prized role was being a mother and grandmother. She had an abundant love for her family, friends, pets, and never met a stranger. Many people would say she possessed a child like spirit and brought fun and light to almost every situation.
A few of Laura’s other Passions were the arts, volunteering, and gardening. Laura was very creative and was an accomplished metalsmith and, at one time, owned her own her stain glass shop. Throughout the years she volunteered at various organizations including CASA, Hospice, and the Tulsa Boys Home.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dr. Gregg M. Snyder, her precious son, Christian Nicholas Conner, and her parents. She is survived by her daughter Lorie L. Kantor (Kent), daughter Heidi R. Hays (Steve), son Dr. Justin G. Snyder (Brittany), eight grand children, sister Lorette E. Blumberg (Brian), and two nephews.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 6, 5-7pm, at Ninde Brookside Funeral Home. Memorial service will Monday, March 7, at 11:00 am at Boston Avenue United Methodist Church.

Dear Lorie, Heidi, Justin: I am so very sorry, for the loss of your mom, I'm really hollowed out by the news as your mom was an impactful person on my life. She took a concern for me personally and made it a point to always build my confidence with the injection of laughter. I owe her a lot beyond those things, but also for the many fond memories of my childhood shared with your family. As a testament to your Mom, all three of you are the most quality people one could hope to meet in this world. I'm lucky I got to know you. She loved you all very much and you made her proud. When you weren't in the room, she was bragging on you, and no one got sick of it because I was pretty much true. You obviously take her spirit with you in your beauty, determination, laughter and passion. Let it shine. The picture posted of your mom, is exactly how I remember her. No one had an easier more beautiful natural smile than her. Thanks for sharing it and letting us all have that reminder. I'll miss your mom. Where does time go? To the Snyder family, words can not express the sadness that I feel in the passing of beloved Laura ...... She was one amazing mom, neighbor, friend, wife, grandmother...... She always made everyone laugh and smile. Laura and I always had fun together and we all even celebrated birthdays together with my youngest son, "Brother," We had many fun times in the big white house up on Osage Ridge Drive..... may you rest in peace, Laura Louise Snyder.........
