Laura Gilbert

Gilbert, Laura Lee (Johnson), 76, died suddenly on Monday, December 26, 2005 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mrs. Gilbert was born on July 7, 1929 in Marlin, Texas the daughter of Elijah and Josephine (Green) Johnson. She was united in Holy Matrimony with John L. Gilbert who preceded her in death in 1996. She was a homemaker and a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her son, Billy Johnson; she is survived by her daughters: Joan Johnson and Betty Gibbs both of Tulsa; her brother: Jessie D. Johnson; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the Ninde Garden Funeral Home, 3841 S. Peoria, from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday. Services will be Friday, December 30th, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Antioch Baptist Church, 110 W. 56th Street North. Her pastor, the Rev. M.C. Potter, will officiate. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
