LaRee Knight

Knight, LaRee Alice, 85, died Friday. LaRee was born July 30, 1921 in Drumright, Oklahoma to her parents Jim & Iva Mae (Walters) Elliott. Upon graduation of High School LaRee became involved in the banking industry where she would labor for over 25 years. She retired from Spirit Bank with great success. LaRee was a very active member of the Church of Christ in Bristow, a strong supporter and participant of P.E.O. (a educational program for women) and very much involved in Business & Professional Women. In addition she was an artist who specialized in oil paintings and tole. She was preceded in death by her husband, L.Z. Knight and her daughter, Peggy Murray in 1984. LaRee is survived by her daughter Renee Inmon-Sandlin of Fayetville, Arkansas; her son, Larry Knight of Tulsa; her brother, Lloyd Elliott of Tulsa; ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all. Services will be held at Ninde Woodland Chapel located at 5757 S. Memorial in Tulsa, Oklahoma 10:00 AM Wednesday with final interment at Magnolia Memorial Gardens in Bristow, Oklahoma. Ninde Woodland.
