Kurt Allen Barksdale, 54, died on Thursday, July 3, 2008 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born December 16, 1953 in Tulsa, OK the son of James Basil and Virginia Louise (Patton) Barksdale. He served in the U.S. Army from 1974 until 1977. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sons: Scott Allen Barksdale and Patrick Cole Barksdale; his brother: Russ Barksdale of Arlington, Texas. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2008 at the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery.
