Kay Robinson

Kay Robinson, nee Reed, a long-time Tulsa resident passed away on June 13, 2026 in Tulsa, OK with several family members by her side.  She was born Clinton, OK on July 22, 1941.  In 1947, her family moved to Clinton, AR where she lived until graduated from high school in 1959.  In December of 1960, she married Willis Robinson.  The glass industry moved them to Fort Smith, AR, Kearney, NE and finally in 1971 to Tulsa, OK.

In 1978, she and Willis founded Robinson Glass.  Over 24 years, she did whatever she could to help make their company a success.  In addition to her work there, she volunteered at the Tulsa Metal Health Association, volunteered in the public schools and worked part-time at The Pavillion.  She loved tennis, golf and travel.  She was a member of P.E.O. for 55 years.  She was an active member of Parkview Baptist Church before making First Presbyterian her church home.

She was preceded in death by an infant sister; her parents; her husband of 54 years, Willis C. Robinson in 2014. She had three years with her second husband, David Burdette Blue before he passed away in 2020. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Richard Reed of Clinton, AR.

She is survived by her children, Carri Clark and Clark Robinson (Cheryl) all of Tulsa. She is also survived by four grandchildren, John Clark Robinson (Ashley) and Joel Robinson (Maddy) of Springdale, AR, Meghan Clark of Los Angeles, CA and Jacob Clark of Eugene, OR; her two sisters, Mollie Martin of Sherwood, AR and Carol Brown of Pine Bluff, AR; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday, June 18 at Ninde Brookside Funeral Home and a memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Friday, June 19 at First Presbyterian Church.
