Karen Harper

Karen Harper was born on April 15, 1954 in Tulsa, OK to J. E. and Frances (Plemmons) Mahoney. Karen went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 after a brief illness at the age of 57. She was preceded in death by her dad, J. E. Mahoney and a brother, Kevin Mahoney. She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Steve Harper; mother, Frances Mahoney; two sisters, Julia Lehman and Colleen Dosser, all of Tulsa.

Karen enjoyed fishing, cooking and gardening. She and Steve enjoyed the many fishing trips and vacations they took together. She had many friends and was a caretaker of her mother, Frances and her grandmother, Adorine Mahoney. Karen was loved by her family, friends and her beloved cat, Callie. We will all miss her.

Memorial service 2:00 P.M. Friday Ninde Brookside Chapel. In lieu of flowers Karen would want donations to go to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 601 S. Boulder Ave., Ste 1300, Tulsa, OK 74119.
