Karana Jean McPherson

Karana Jean McPherson was born on February 19, 1954 in Sparks, NV to Melvin Oscar “M.O.” Anderson and Dorthea Ernestine (Hicks) Anderson.  Keri, as she was affectionately known, passed from this life on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the age of 63.

Karana was a 32 year Army wife.  She was all about family.  Taking care of her family and extended family was of paramount importance, even home-schooling.  She was an avid supporter of the military family support program, even before its national inception.  Keri was also a member of several Autism Support Groups in Tulsa.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Lee Born.  Keri is survived by her husband, Erich, of the home; sisters, Elenora Brixey of Neosho, MO and Mae Oglee of Albuquerque, NM; nephews and nieces, David Oglee, Jessica Graham and Elizabeth Wagner; great nieces and nephews, Leila and Brian Graham and Bailey and Milo Wagner; special nephews and nieces, Joseph Hugh McPherson Pickering, Kenneth Andrew Pickering, Karana Lyn Berg, Arthena Caywood and William Cox.
