Juanita Liggans

Liggans, Juanita Mae, 88, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2008. She was born in Colorado on September 29, 1919 to John and Flora Belle (LaRue) McDaniel. Juanita retired from Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital, food service department where she worked as a dietician. She was preceded in death by, her husband, Arthur C. Liggans; a son, Dale Liggans; sisters, Bessie Hobbs, Mildred Denham and Melva Anders and brothers, Bill and Leroy McDaniel. She is survived by, 2 daughters, Norma Washburn, of Tulsa, OK and Janice Vaughan, of Morris, OK; 2 sons, Larry Liggans, of Grove, OK and Terry Liggans, of Tulsa, OK; 4 sisters, Jessie Chancellor and Viola Bible, both of Vinita, Naomi York, of Adair, OK and Lois Peden, of Houston, TX; 3 brothers, Gene McDaniel, of Owasso, OK, Ronnie McDaniel, of Adair, OK and Jerry McDaniel, of Tulsa, OK; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Service 1:00 P.M. Friday First United Pentecostal Church with interment in Floral Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
