Gant, Joyce Lee, 69, passed away Friday, February 5, 2010. She was born on July 14, 1940 in Tulsa, OK to George and Betty (Zackary) Sawyer. For many years, Joyce worked as a cook and caterer for Knotty Pine Barbeque. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Karrie Ann McWhrit; 2 sons, Danny and Jimmy Jones and a sister, Evelyn Coffie. She is survived by her husband, John, of the home; daughter, Melody Burger and her husband, Keith, of Broken Arrow, OK; sons, Kenneth Jones and David Jones and his wife, Margie, all of Tulsa; sisters, Donna Brown, of Broken Arrow, OK and Kay Wade, of California; a brother, Billy Wade, of California; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. Service 2:00 P.M. Wednesday Faith Tabernacle Pentecostal Church of God, 6021 W. 7th St., Tulsa, OK a private interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Ninde Brookside Chapel 918-742-5556.
