Josephine "Jessie" Palmra Crews

Beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother died Tuesday, November 6th in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born to Italian immigrants, Antonio Roda and Philimena Genovetta Costerella, April 13, 1919 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. While in Ardmore she was involved in activities in the church and volunteered at the dialysis unit of Memorial Hospital. Jessie had resided in Tulsa since the death of her husband, Houston, in 1999.While living in Tulsa she was active in all the activities in the retirement community she lived in, especially the card games, bingo and dominoes. She loved her games and all the new friends she made. She is survived by 4 children, Mike Crews and wife Patty of OKC, Barbara Dannatt and husband Allan of Houston, TX, Phyllis Crews of Plano, TX and Mary Utley and husband Art, Tulsa, grandchildren Heather and Tony Crews, Jason and Christopher Dannatt , Jessica and Jackson Utley, and great-grandchildren Brennan and Harley Crews. Memorial service will be Saturday, November 10, at 11 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
