Obituary
Joseph Alan Hogard was born on April 14, 1932 in Tulsa, OK to Earl and Lorna (McKinney) Hogard. Joseph passed from this life on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at the age of 88.
Joe earned a BSBA in Accounting from The University of Tulsa and retired from the Mabee Foundation as Comptroller. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Joe was a graduate of Will Rogers High School and a longtime member of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Voni and a step daughter, Judy Pohl. He is survived by his step daughters, Cindi Driscoll of Broken Arrow, OK and Holli McIntosh of Tulsa, OK and 4 grandchildren: Stefanie Driscoll, Jessica McIntosh, Ryan McIntosh and Scott McIntosh. Joe loved his Maltese dog, Tina, enjoyed watching TU and OU football and going out to eat. He was a beloved family member and many people called him friend.
The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Wednesday and service 11:00 AM Thursday both at Ninde Brookside Chapel. Interment with military honors will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the following charities: The American Cancer Society or Light of Hope, Inc. at www.lightofhopeinc.org.

So many great memories! Joes was my goto guy for a dinner date :) He rarely turned down an opportunity to get out of the house and enjoy time with friends and family. We had lots of fun and ate lots of delicious food every chance we could get. He was a great man and will be greatly missed. He would text me every morning and wish me a great day and tell me that he loved me. Here are some pictures of some of the great times we had over the years. Miss you Joe! Joe was such a caring man, a man of true character and honor. Joe truly encouraged me on a daily basis. Joe supported my life mission whole heartedly, and he helped encourage me to press on. He was family to me. He was family to many. We will miss you here on this earth, but I know you are celebrating in glory now. Praise God for His promises. Until we meet again, Joe, know that your life has impacted my life forever. I love you, Joseph Hogard.

Daddy, it is hard to believe you are gone! You are reunited with Mother, your parents, brothers, loved ones and friends that have gone on before.
