Obituary
Jon R. Lantz was born on May 9, 1947 in Tulsa, to Robert & Joyce Lantz. Jon passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Survived by much loved wife, Susan; loving sister, Joan; step-daughter, Lynne Leidy; cousins, Martin, Maurine and Kevin Lantz of Tulsa, and Joyce, Bud, and Kyle Donovan of San Antonio and Houston. His family was very proud of his military service in the late 1960’s, including a tour in Viet Nam, as a member of the Army. Jon, who never met a stranger, enjoyed the frequent moves growing up the child of a geologist. The entire family eventually migrated home to Tulsa in the 1980’s, and Jon became part of K & M Shillingford HVAC Company, as a mechanical contractor in 1986. Jon loved to cook and entertain and menu planning would become a family event. In lieu of flowers, please give to Meals on Wheels. Services are scheduled for Tuesday, March 17th at 10:00 a.m., Ninde Brookside Chapel. Gather your family and friends, have a good meal, some lively conversation, raise your glass and think of Jon.

Jon will be incredibly missed. He is a great man and I never heard him say a bad word about someone. I learned a lot from him in working with him, but I enjoyed how our conversations always wound up with us just shooting the breeze.
