Obituary
Mikos, John George, 85, fell asleep in the Lord on Wednesday, October 1, 2008. Born May 5, 1923 in Grilos, Greece the son of George Paul and Katherine (Regas) Mihos. He owned and operated John's Western Store in Okmulgee, Oklahoma for many years where he made his home. He is survived by his wife Joanna (Gavras) Mikos; his sons: Dr. George John Mikos and his wife Ildiko of Louisville, KY , John Mikos and his wife Janet of Asheville, NC; his grandchildren: Christopher, Anthony, Irina and Christian Mikos. His mother-in-law: Mrs. Aikaterina Gavras of Okmulgee. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 4th at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Place of interment is pending. The family requests that memorials be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 1222 S. Guthrie, Tulsa, OK 74119.
