Tributes & Memories

He was a good friend once upon a time. We lost touch after I had moved away. I moved back, but Gio was already gone....I think about him a lot.

Gio was my friend. We had not spoken in about a year because i went to rehabilitaion. About a year after his death i reached out and found out he had passed and was heartbroken. I sit here tonight looking at pictures of him. Still miss him. I grieve for the family if i lost my son (who is now 2 years old) I'd be crushed beyond words. Rest in Peace Gio and i pray for peace for his family. God bless you.

With heavy hearts we mourn this loss with you. Gio was so much more than an employee to us. He was like one of our children. Whether he needed encouragement, discipline, advice (not always requested but given nonetheless), help with finances or just a hug, Gio was quick to pass out the same to even a stranger. He brought laughter, tears of joy and smiles to our family at home and to coworkers and customers at work. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this tragic loss. I pray that you all carry solace in knowing that he will be missed but most of all that he will be forever remembered. RIP Gio.

Gio spent so much time at our apartment over the years, we basically looked at him as our grown man child. We loved his company and the jokes. We hope you guys find solace knowing he is no longer battling his demons. He is at peace, finally.

My heart breaks for you, my daughter went home to the Lord on my birthday 2/18/2003, if you ever want to talk I will be here for you, sad to say you never get over losing a child, it is the hardest thing to go through, I celebrated that my daughter went to heaven, my loss her gain, so every birthday that is what I do. When it get hard for me, I picture her in heaven with family in her own home with the things she like, as Jesus said, ask what your heart desires and I will give it to you. So picture your son, John, enjoying his new life, in his own home and with loved ones, do this this when you are sad and this will make you smile. I've been praying strength for you and your family. Dear Mike, Candace, and family, Our family extends our heartfelt sorrow for your loss as we grieve with you over John's passing. Only families who have experienced the loss of a child, a brother, or sister can truly know what you are right going through now. Our family went through this in 1993 when our 21 year old Sam passed over. Our prayers for the comforter to watch over and care for you and God's grace to surround you and Jesus to speak to your hearts as he grieves with you are going up. If there is any way we can assist or help you, please call me at 918-724-6462. You must come to understand you are not required to understand, but you must continue to trust God. You will get past this horrific time and the heaviness of this will lessen over time as you continue to trust God and walk it out. . We love you, Larry, Carole, Bob, Stephanie and Doug Winnett

Dear Mike and Candy, Ron and I were shocked to hear about the death of your son. Our hearts are in pain about the hurt this must have caused in you and we are so sorry for your loss. John seems such a delightful young man and I am sorry I did not get to know him better. We only met shortly in church. We know how hard it is to lose a son, as we did, and we can only look forward to the glories in Heaven and the joy of that great reunion time. But for now, just know that you are in our prayers and in our hearts. We hope to see you both soon in church again to continue our friendship. With all our love, Ron and Evy
