John Merrick

John Riley Merrick was born April 23, 1926 in Harris, Arkansas to Wayne and Fannie Ann (Franklin) Merrick and passed from this life September 23, 2009 at the age of 83. Preceded in death by his parents and his wives, Kathryn Emogene (McLaughlin) Merrick and Joyce Louise (Swanson) Merrick, John is survived by his wife of the home, Betty Jean (Carter) Merrick; his daughters Linda Gail Suder and Betty Ann Morton; his son and daughter-in-law, John and Danielle Merrick; his grandchildren Tim and Mary Suder, Joe and Lisa Suder, Brandy (Suder) Balderamma, Sean Merrick and Brandon Summerhill; 14 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. John will lie in state 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday at Ninde Brookside Funeral Home with a funeral service held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Parkland Baptist Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma with interment at Green Acres Cemetery, Skiatook, OK.
