John Blanton

Johnny Mack Blanton was born on October 3, 1944 in Frederick, OK to Charles and Virginia (Leonard) Blanton. John passed from this life on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at the age of 66. He graduated college with a BA degree in Social Studies. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was discharged as a 1st Lieutenant. For many years he sold equipment and supplies for the oil and gas industry. John was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughters, Staci Leanne Collebrusco, of Broken Arrow and Molly Katherine Blanton, of Oklahoma City; 2 sons, Michael Charles Blanton, of Oklahoma City and Kevin Lane Blanton, of Clavert, TX; 2 grandchildren, Julianna Marie Collebrusco and Brian John Collebrusco, of Broken Arrow and his former wife, Susie Blanton, of Tulsa. Family will receive friends 5-7P.M. Wednesday at Ninde Brookside Funeral Home. Service 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Ninde Brookside Chapel, interment with military honors at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
