Joel Martin Jones was born October 21, 1954 in Tulsa, OK to Robert & Helen Jones and passed from this life on January 20, 2018 at the age of 63.
Joel was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Keith. He is survived by his daughters, Jacquelyn “Jackie” Jones and Julie LaBarth; and his brother, Bob and his wife, Holly.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, OK.

My deepest sympathy... Just now learned while looking up Joel. I was his OU freshman room mate 73-74 and Joel was my best man at my wedding. Thought of Joel because OU is now playing Nebraska again and I remember the great time we had together at that game back in 73. Joel was a great guy and friend. Sorry we fell out of touch.
