Joe Lineback

Joe C. Lineback was born on August 19, 1932 in Paris, AR to Lucian and Kitty (Carter) Lineback. Joe passed from this life on Monday, January 30, 2012 at the age of 79 after a long battle with lung cancer.

He was honorably discharged from the Army after serving during the Korean War. Joe graduated from Tulsa University with a B.A. degree. He worked for MAPCO, which later was sold to Consolidated Natural Gas Company and he retired at the age of 55. Joe was a member of South Brooke Church of Christ where he served as an elder.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Carolyn Shelton; a brother, Lawrence Lineback and a granddaughter, Kelsey Dyan Lineback. He is survived by his wife, Betty, of the home; a daughter, Karen Crowder and her husband, John Crowder, of Flower Mound, TX; a son, John Lineback and his wife, Kathi, of Atascocita, TX; sisters, Betty Wakefield, of Ft. Smith, AR and Elaine Johnson, of Tulsa, OK; 5 grandchildren, Joshua Crowder, Matthew Lineback, Wesley Crowder, Nicholas and Zachary Lineback and 3 great grandchildren, Rachel, Wyatt and Kelsey Crowder.
