Obituary
Joan Francine (Becker) Patchen was born October 25, 1929 in Kansas City, Missouri to Franklin C. & Orpha Glenda (Dreyer) Becker. Upon completion of her education she embarked on a lifelong career of educating children with disabilities. She worked for Sunnyside School and Children's Medical Center for over 25 years in this capacity. With a love for jazz, family and friends she will be missed by all.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband Charles Woodford Patchen, Jr. after 41 years of marriage. She is survived by her son and his wife, Stephen & Marilyn Patchen of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
