Joan "Jody" Cleveland Olewine, 85, died on Saturday, October 31, 2009 in Richmond, Texas. She was born August 22, 1924 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Joseph R. and Grace E. (Harper) Cleveland. She attended both Oklahoma A & M and the University of Tulsa where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She worked for the Tulsa Zoo as a secretary until she retired. She is survived by her son, Robert J. Olewine, III of Sugar Land, Texas; her sister, Jean Wamsley of Tulsa; and her grandchildren, Carmen and Michael. She was predeceased by one son, Richard Olewine. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Ninde Woodland Funeral Home, 5757 S. Memorial. Service will be 1:00 pm Friday in the Ninde Woodland Chapel with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
