Joan Hayes

Joan Louise Hayes, age 74, passed away Saturday afternoon in the Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Hayes was born on January 6, 1936 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Robert Leslie and Esther Lavina (Frye) Williamson. After graduation from high school she attended Wheaton College and received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing where she became a registered nurse. She and Harry J. Hayes were united in marriage on July 2, 1980 in Havre, Montana.

She is survived by her husband Harry J. Hayes of the home, 2 daughters, Dorijean Louise Wilson of Oxnard, California and Theressa Wilborn of Tulsa, 1 son, Wayne Randy Wilson of Portland, Oregon and 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Willard Lee Wilson in 1979 and 2 sons, Doug Eugene Wilson in 1993 and James Russ Wilson.

Mrs. Hayes will lie in state 10:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday with the family receiving friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Ninde Woodland Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the River of Life Assembly of God, Inola, Oklahoma with final interment at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery, Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma.
