Jo Lapan

Lapan, Jo Ann Pilfold, 56, native Tulsan, passed away at her home in Tulsa, on Friday, April 25, 2008. Jo Ann was born on December 8, 1951 to George and Marcellene (Bilbro) Pilfold. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and active in the Police Auxiliary. She was proud of her Creek Indian heritage, an excellent cook, a loving sister and aunt, and a loyal friend. Jo Ann especially enjoyed the companionship of her pet dogs, outings with friends and vacation time with family. She also enjoyed the fellowship of her church and was a member of the Christian faith. Jo Ann is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Lou and Allan Stephens, of Richmond, KY; a niece, Susan Zarzycki and husband, Scott, of Glendale, CA; a great niece, Natalie Mae Zarzycki, of Glendale, CA; her close friends, Connie Stephens, and Sandra Winn, both of Tulsa and her many friends at the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office where she was a longtime employee. A Memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 2, 2008, at the Ninde Brookside Chapel.
