Obituary
Jinda (Jereldean Linda) Whitlatch passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the age of 75. Jinda is survived her son, Jeff Whitlatch and his wife Amber of Tulsa and grandson, Jubal. Also surviving is her sister, Dianne Roberts and husband Mickey of Guymon, Oklahoma. Preceding her in death was her husband George and her mother, Jeanne Burch Darden and father James H. Darden.
Jinda was born on September 5, 1942 in Dalhart, Texas. She married the love of her life, George Whitlatch of New Freeport, PA on August 9, 1968. She worked for many years as Executive Secretary for various companies. Jinda loved to read and took on the role of building and maintaining the library at her church and singing in the choir. Other hobbies included cake decorating, volunteering and ceramics and crafts.
Jinda always loved her dogs dearly and the family is requesting that Memorials be made to Oklahoma Alliance for Animals in her memory.
A Celebration of Life was held 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2017.

I only recently made an acquaintance with Jinda but wanted you to know how much I enjoyed our short friendship. She loved to sing and had joined our choir but got sick shortly after and was not able to comtinue, I am so sorry for your loss.
