Jere Ione Cook was born September 19, 1924 in Houston, Texas to Jack and Clytie (Smith) Palmer. She passed from this life Saturday, April 4, 2009 at her home at the age of 84. She is survived by her step-sons and daughters-in-law, Cliff and Patricia Cook of Cleveland, OK; Stephen and Debbie Cook, Christiansburg, VA; Gary and Elaine Cook, Lost City, OK. A memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Friday at the 29th & Yale Church of Christ. Her ashes will be placed at Memorial Park Cemetery.
