Obituary
Jean Anne Watkins Sparks, our beloved mother, mother-in-law, sister and grandma, passed from this life in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the age of 78.
She was born on October 16, 1940 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Alvin Taylor Watkins and Katie Irene (Smith) Watkins. She was a graduate of Muskogee High School and attended Bacone college. Jean spent most of her life making a home for her two daughters. She was a strong believer in our Lord and maintained faith, considering herself blessed. She made friends easily and was gracious in giving to others. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughters, Kristen Vedder and Susan Robb and husband Jeff Robb; her beloved sister Jan Reddoch and husband Jim Reddoch; her grandsons Austin Vedder and Alec Vedder; her niece Pamela Blades; nephew Phillip Fisher II and wife Linda Fisher; great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Memorial service 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 26th, at the Wild Peach Community Church, Wild Peach, TX. Interment 12:30 P.M. Cedarvale Cemetery Bay City, Texas.

Dear Sparks family. I am so sorry to have read of the death of Jean. Please accept my sincere condolences. I would like to share something that I have personally found to be comforting. It is found in the Bible at John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:4. (Please read) May God give you and your family comfort in His promise that soon we will never experience losing our loved ones in death and we will be able to see them again once they are resurrected.
