Jean Ann Kerlin

Jean Ann Vanwy Kerlin was born May 26, 1937, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to William Ralph Vanwy and Alice Blanche (Hill) Vanwy.  Jean passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the age of 88.  Jean was a 1955 graduate of Central High School in Tulsa, OK, and received BS degree from the University of Tulsa in 1959.

Jean Ann Vanwy and James Keelty Kerlin were married June 9, 1962.  They were blessed with two beautiful children, Katherine Elizabeth in 1964 and James Keelty Jr. in 1966.  

Jean was brilliant and extremely organized, and she had an amazing sense of humor.  Her past accomplishments included - Past President of Kappa Kappa Gamma at University of Tulsa, Past Treasurer of Junior League of Tulsa, and Tulsa Town Hall. She was active in the Community of Christ Church and accepted her calling as Priest.

Jean loved the cabin at Grand Lake on Ketchum Cove with her children, grandchildren and friends, as well as traveling to many destinations in the United States and abroad including a cruise to Alaska in 2016. Jean enjoyed her family, her church, playing bridge with her friends.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Katie Campbell and son, Keelty Kerlin; her grandsons, Caleb and Kane Campbell; brother in law, Neal Taylor; niece, Allison Taylor Vaughan and her husband, Tom Vaughan and their children, Ryan Vaughan, Taylor Vaughan Henery, and her husband, Joe Henery; her  sister in law, Shelia Prince and her husband, Paul Prince; and  nephew, David Prince and his wife, Heather Prince and their children. Her cousins, Richard Wynne, and his wife, Summer; Mellisa Walker and her husband, Bob; Eva Osborne and children; Janet Legg Borison and her husband, Scott Borison and their children;  her cousin, Catherine Willis Bolding and her husband, John and their children; and her husband’s cousins, Shelly Jackson and her children, and Rick Stiller and his children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sister, Helen Taylor, a nephew, Brian Taylor, and her husband’s cousin, Sherry Stiller.
