James Webb

Webb, James Todd, 48, a free-lance writer and former Tulsa resident, passed from this life on Monday, April 2, 2007 in Washington, DC. Todd graduated from Mason High School and attended the University of Oklahoma where he majored in journalism. He served as Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper, The Oklahoma Daily. After working as an entertainment reporter for the Daily Oklahoman in Oklahoma City, he moved to Washington, D.C. where he worked for the Carnegie Institute, American Heart Association and the New York Times for ten years. Todd's many interests included reading, biking, music and his friends. Todd is survived by his mother, Marilyn Webb, of Tulsa; his father, James Webb, of Raleigh, NC; 3 half-brothers: Paul, Jimmy and Peter and 3 cousins. Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 11th, Trinity Episcopal Church with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in Todd's memory.
