James Vise
Obituary
James L. Vise was born September 7, 1937 in Wichita, KS to Burl A. and Helen M. (Matthies) Vise. He went home to be with his Lord Sunday, March 9, 2008 at the age of 70.
Jim was a graduate of Kirkwood High School in St. Louis and went on to attend Drury College on a basketball scholarship. He later transferred to the University of Kansas where he graduated with a degree in accounting. Captain Vise served in the Vietnam War in the late 1960's. Jim began his business career in Kansas City and transferred to Tulsa in 1971.
He leaves the fragrance of his memory with his wife, Mary; their daughter, Kim of Cheyenne, WY; and, granddaughters, Ashlyn (17), Jennifer (14) and Amber (7); their son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Jill Vise of Tulsa; and, grandsons, Sam (9) and Ben (6). Our beloved, father, pappa and friend will be missed always.
The family will receive friends 7:00 pm Wednesday at Ninde Brookside Funeral Home. A funeral will be held 10:30 am Thursday in Ninde Brookside Chapel, 39th and Peoria.
