Obituary
James Lawrence Knight was born on October 8, 1927 in Tulsa, OK to William and Daisy Belle (Collins) Knight. James passed from this life on Monday, April 18, 2011.
He graduated from Webster High School class of 1945. James retired from Burlington Northern Railroad as an Inspector. He also was a noted musician in Tulsa, playing the guitar for the Starduster's the longest playing dance band at the VFW.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie (Martin) Knight in 2005. He is survived by his 2 daughters, Janet Gragg, of Broken Arrow, OK and LeeAnn Howard, of Claremore, OK; 1 sister, Dorothy Corlett, of Tulsa; 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great-grandson.
