James Cantrell

James R. "Jamie" Cantrell passed away on September 7, 2013, in Tulsa, OK, at the age of 47.

Predeceased by his parents, Marshall and Virgie Cantrell of Sapulpa, OK.

Jamie is survived by Paula, the love of his life and best friend of more than 23 years.

Jamie is lovingly remembered by Paula of Tulsa; step-children, Brett Lundy and Brian Lundy; and the grandchildren of "Papa Jamie", Kaylie and Caden. Also survived by brothers Carl (Rita), Marshall (Laura), and sister DeEdra all of Tulsa; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jamie grew up in Sapulpa, OK where he attended Sapulpa Public Schools. He loved to fish, hunt, golf, and he was also an avid Oklahoma Sooners fan. When asked which of these was his favorite he would say "it just depends on what season it is".

At the time of his death, James was employed as a welder at T. D. Williamson and leaves behind many good friends.

Jamie or James, whichever name you knew him by, will be out of our sight but his memory will live on in our hearts.

The Family is having a Celebration of Jamie's Life that is being held at First Christian Church, 220 E. Lee St., Sapulpa, OK, on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM.
