Cool guy. I am sorry about his passing. Can't believe you're gone.

I never knew Jackson at all. I knew of him because of Esports. My first time hearing about him was when we were preparing for a game, and the coach mentioned the situation with Bixby. Today, I asked again if he was okay, and that’s when I found out. I’m so sorry for the loss, he seemed like a great guy. Rest in peace.

Jackson and I were good friends online and never got the chance to meet in person. We would play games together almost everyday, we shared the same humor, and for someone who I only knew online, it seemed like we grew up together. All the times were Jackson’s parents would walk into the room in the middle of the night yelling at him because Jack was screaming were times I could never forget. Jack is a person that I will always remember and I wish I could’ve met him in person. I will never forget you Jack, may God bless your family, I love your brother.

I worked with Jack at the VISA booth at Scheels. Jack was always upbeat, lighthearted, willing to help, kind and funny. One day, we were talking when my husband came up to booth from behind and just said "nuh UH!", to which Jack immediately replied, "uh HUH!". That silly conversation repeated and then I introduced them. Jack didn't know that was my husband, but he engaged in friendly banter with someone he had just met. He was like that with every customer he helped, too. He was true joy to work with and just be around. I will miss his big grin and his love for fun. My prayers are with all of his family and friends. Just know that he made a positive impact on so many people's lives. May we all learn to live like Jack, in God's grace.

I will always remember a pre-teen Jack talking with my preschool aged grandson as if they were best buds at a family brunch with Gramma ViviJo. As we went our separate ways, Casey immediately asked when he'd get to see Jack again. Any time I have been able to see him since then, I've noticed how personable and conversational! My heart to you all.

Q: What will you never forget about Jackson? A: I will never forget the fact that Jack was one of the only people who made me feel like I truly mattered to him. If I was walking in the school parking lot, he would always holler at me and tell me about his car. Him and Josie would make me laugh every-time I heard them talking. Jack was always a person I wouldn’t just call a best-friend, but a brother. I would say it was impossible to be in a bad mood around him. He was always talking to me in 4th hour about online jokes and he’s the only person I couldn’t beat in a “online meme contest”. Jack always made me feel like I mattered, not because he spoke it to me, but because he embodied the person I knew I could spend time with and not feel like I was spending it with the wrong person.

jack neerman, one of the funniest people i’ve ever met. i will never forget the laughs, the facetimes, the football games, the arguments over stupid things, the hangouts, classes with you, especially the time you sold my brother a lego set for $100?? every moment with you was a adventure. you knew how to make me laugh on my darkest days, but also made me want to rip my hair out 99% of the time. to know jack was a blessing, but to be loved by him was a gift. Gods so lucky to have you in his hands. i love you jack.

Jack was a good friend and a good rugby teammate, always would talk to me about anything that was funny that came to his mind at practice, out of school, or at school. He would always talk to me in a smile or laughing about something and always brought joy to me and always make laugh no matter what he said. He always loved talking about cars to me or what he was gonna add to his car. I will forever remember and love you jack.

Me and Jackson have worked together and trained at chick-fil-A and he always made work fun and always had jokes and when he stopped working and went to work at Scheels he would still come thru our drive thru and order funny orders like an ice cream cone but no ice cream, only a white bun, 1 single grilled nugget and he would always mess with us getting 8 larger waters with no ice and with no ice it takes longer and then he did 4 another time but he was always making us laugh when he did those crazy funny orders. We love and will miss you Jack ❤️❤️

My son Gabriel was fortunate to call him a friend, and I had the privilege of meeting Jack during a visit to Scheels. From the moment he greeted Gabriel with a brotherly handshake, I could see the warmth and kindness shining through him. His infectious smile truly lit up the room and brought joy to everyone around him. As Gabriel introduced me to Jack, I was struck by his genuine spirit. Later that week, he graciously assisted me in opening my Scheels credit card, demonstrating not only his professionalism but also his willingness to help others. It was evident in our short time together that Jack held a deep faith in Jesus, a faith that radiated through his actions and interactions. He embodied a bright and shining light in this world, spreading kindness and compassion wherever he went. To Jack's family, I want you to know that your son’s legacy will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew him. In times of sorrow, may you find comfort in the words of Scripture: *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."* – Psalm 34:18 Jack's spirit touched so many lives, and although he is no longer with us, his love will continue to inspire and uplift us. We will carry his memory in our hearts, honoring the incredible person he was and the light he brought into our lives.

I remember seeing Jack a few times acting goofy along the sidelines at a few soccer games that Josie was playing in. When we went to Kansas City, he photo bombed almost every picture :D. But Scott and I will never forget the time it was over 90 degrees outside and Jack was casually walking across the BA turf field, wearing a black hoodie WITH his hood on…..Zoe laughed and JJ just shook his head. He was always trying to make people laugh! He was a special guy. For the short time he spent on earth, he sure did make an impact, he will be missed by many.

I love that the last time we got to be together was Christmas, and he introduced us to a fun new word game! Now when I play it, I will think of Jack. Your cousins, Uncle Chuck, and I will miss you, sweetie. Say hi to Grandpa for us!

Zoe will remember when I went with her to get Jackson’s and Josie’s first shots. Jackson had his shot first. Of course he started screaming. Josie was next. The second Jack saw she had to get a shot he was screaming louder. “NO, NO”. “Sissy’s not sick. She doesn’t need a shot.” “NO,NO”. From that minute on I knew Jackson Neerman was a very special boy. He loved his baby sister and was ready to protect her at all costs. Jackson had a huge heart, a beautiful smile and he was filled with love. God Bless Zoe, JJ, Jared, Joshua, and Josie. Love, Jan

I remember Jack when he was a baby, running up and down the hall of Rockwood Middle School laughing while he ran.

Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Jackson? A: I’ve known Jackson since he was young, not extremely well, but my son was in his grade and I interacted with him from time to time. I saw him recently at his work and he was always so recognizable with his big smile and perfect jawline. Very handsome young man. A great conversationalist as well. Shared a story of my son that I didn’t know that made me smile and I remember thinking after our interaction how he has so much going for him…charming, handsome, a good friend to others, great athlete and hard worker. I was beyond heart-broken to hear the news of his passing and truthfully in disbelief at first. Praying to all those who knew and loved him and that they can have peace knowing he is with our father in heaven. RIP Jackson- you will be missed!

He made work a better place. Anytime I was asked why I didn’t want to move departments my answer was always “I can’t leave my coworker Jack.” He was an amazing friend to me. I can’t even begin to imagine what you guys are going through. I am so deeply sorry for your loss.
