Harriett Utter

Harriett Ellen Utter, retired from St. Francis Hospital, left her temporary earthly tent moving into a permanent dwelling on May 3, 2006 at the age of 88. Born to Hary and Gert Harrington she lived in Jamesport, MO until moving to Tulsa, OK in 1970. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ, volunteering at local nursing homes and Christian education. She is survived by one brother, Nevin Harrington of Crosstimbers, MO and three sisers, Marguerite Maharg of Ozark, MO, Naomi Reese of Nixa, MO and Myrtle Qualls-Wulf of Huntsville, AL along with numerous nephews and nieces as well as her 6 children: Clifford and Donna Utter of Pendleton, OR, Ernest and Kathy Utter of Boring, OR, Alice Tobey of Sapulpa, OK, Sharon and Bob Duffer of Tulsa, OK, Linda Deckman of Tulsa, OK, and Steven Utter of Owasso, OK, Step-children, David E. and Ann Utter of Republic, MO and Roberta McNeel of Grants Pass, OR. She also leaves 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. 2 grandchildren preceded her in death as well as sister Letha Mae Baxter and brothers Ralph and Marvin Harrington of Jamesport, MO. Family visitation will be Sunday, May 7th from 2-4 p.m. at Ninde Woodland, 5757 S. Memorial. Service 10 a.m. Monday, May 8th, Park Plaza Church of Christ. Private family interment.
