Guy Henley, 87, died on Sunday, January 27, 2008. He was born in Mansfield, Arkansas the son of James A. Henley and Nora Peevyhouse Henley. He graduated from Tulsa's Central High School. He served in the Army Airforce from 1942 to 1945. Guy worked overseas more than 25 years in Sumatra, Indonesia for Standard Oil Company. He also worked in Livorno, Italy and London, England. He served as an elder and Sunday School teacher at his church, Faith Cumberland Presbyterian until his death. His life was filled with family and friends. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and several dogs that he owned over the years. Guy was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Glenn Henley. He leaves two sons, Jim Henley of Bartlesville, OK, Guy W. Henley of Canada; two daughters, Linda Higgins of Vinita, OK and Rebecca Watkins of Tulsa, OK; 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 7 great, great grandchildren with two more on the way. He was very loving to all he met. He will be missed by all. Memorial donations may be made to Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 2801 S.129th E. Ave, Tulsa, OK 74134. Memorial service 2:00 p.m. Friday at Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
