Greg Todd Gilleland

Gregory Todd Gilleland was born on March 28, 1977 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Donnie & Gloria Gilleland. Greg passed from this life on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at the age of 46.

Greg graduated from Union High School in 1995, known for his talents on the wrestling mat and baseball field. Greg continued with baseball to Eastern Oklahoma Junior College, and completed his baseball career pitching for the University of Arkansas, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 2000. Soon after graduation, Greg began his 23 year career with Acme Brick.

Greg lived life to the fullest. “work hard, to play hard”, was more than just a motto, but proven daily in Greg’s life. Greg enjoyed everything sports and outdoors. His love for baseball carried on to his children in baseball and softball, spending countless nights and weekends with friends and family at the ballfields watching his kids play.

Greg enjoyed traveling, especially by motorcycle. His passion for motorcycles began when he was 14 years old with a Honda Trail 70. Countless Harley Davidson’s came and went through out his adult life, each one being “the favorite one”. Greg enjoyed making the friends and memories that came along with the motorcycle adventures.

Greg is survived by his wife, Cristy; son, Luke; daughter, Emily, parents, Donnie and Gloria; brother, Jeff; nieces and nephews, Drew, Aubry, Avery & Cameron; Grandmothers, Cousins, Aunt, Uncles and several extended family members too numerous to count.

With grateful hearts, we thank you for all of the generous messages, thoughts and prayers.

In lieu of flowers, a trust has been established to carry on Greg’s Legacy to his children.
