Obituary
Gertrude C. (Tuma) McMeins of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the age of 93.
Gertrude was born on April 2, 1921 in St. Paul, Nebraska to Richard and Clara Tuma.
She was a former member of South Side Christian Church where she served as Diaconate and member of CWF (Christian Women Fellowship). After retiring from Tulsa Tobacco Company she enjoyed volunteering at Marshall School Library, playing cards and word games with lady friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William K. McMeins and a brother Cy Tuma.
Survivors include a nephew Richard Lempke.

So Sorry For Your Loss. While researching my McMeins family tree I found Gertrude. Visiting my youngest daughter a few years ago I discovered she was only two blocks away. What a surprise. I knocked on her door and she invited me in. We had a nice visit and she gave me some pictures of her and her husband. Such a nice lady.
