Geraldine Newman

Geraldine "Jerry" Newman was born June 10, 1927 in Wewoka, OK and passed on to the arms of Jesus on November 26, 2013 at her home in Jenks, OK. Jerry was a delightful child and sister; dedicated, faithful and loving spouse; devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; and beloved mother-in-law.

Jerry was preceded in death by her soul mate and husband of 60 years, Jack; her parents, John David and Rosetta (Miller) Hull; her brother, Hartsill Hull and sister, Mary Powers. She is survived by her daughter, Karla Taber of Jenks, OK; her son, Roger and daughter-in-law, LaDonna of Richmond, VA; and her son, Ken and daughter-in-law, Melinda of Carrollton, TX; her sister, Jewell and brother-in-law, Ross Ayers of Knoxville, TN. Her legacy lives on in her pride and joy - her six grandsons, Jason Taber and his wife, Gina of Edmond, OK, Zack Newman and his wife, Meredith of Richmond, VA, Niles Newman of Richmond, VA, Trent Taber and his wife, Katie of Jenks, OK, Trevor Taber of Jenks, OK and Brett Newman and his wife, Lauren of Dallas, TX; and her three great granddaughters, Audrey Taber, Lily Newman and Finley Newman; as well as numerous extended family.
