Geraldine East

Geraldine Elva (Hall) East was born May 15, 1919 in Cleveland, Oklahoma to Charles Roy and Lydia Belle (Rains) Hall and passed from this life Sunday, January 9, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 91.

Geraldine was a housewife and had a retail career working with gems and jewelry for over 20yrs employed by Zales Jewelers for over 17 years. She was a life-long loving Mother and loved animals.

Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles W. East; a daughter, Luona Janette East; a sisters, Oneta Hall; three brothers, Willis Hall, Thomas Hall and Doyle Hall. Geraldine is survived by her son and daughter, Regina East and Charles F. East.; and two sisters, Olethia Annette and Othelia Smith both of Cleveland, Oklahoma.

Geraldine will lie in state for viewing between 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, and her funeral will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, at the Ninde Brookside Funeral Home Chapel. She will be laid to rest with a 3:30 PM Friday, at the Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland, Oklahoma.
