Gerald Moore

Gerald Amil Moore, 86, of Jenks, Oklahoma died on Monday, August 8, 2005 at the Southcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Moore was born December 16, 1918 in Allen, Oklahoma the son of William Edward and Susie (Votaw) Moore. He was raised in Allen, Oklahoma. He married Velma Irene Wilkinson on December 22, 1937 in Allen, Oklahoma. They moved to Jenks, Oklahoma where they raised their family and were members of the Jenks Church of Christ. He retired from Sun Oil Company where he worked as a Laboratory Technician. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Velma of the home; his daughter: Phyllis Russell and her husband Chuck of Chouteau, Oklahoma; his son: Ron Moore and his wife Judy of Jenks, OK; his sister: Opal McWaters of California; his grandchildren: Scott Moore and his wife Casey of Owasso, OK, Wayne Russell and his wife Jody of Edmond, OK and Paul Russell and his wife Janetof Houston, Texas; and nine Great Grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in the Ninde Garden Chapel with Mr. Tracy Ellis officiating. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. in the Allen Cemetery in Allen, Oklahoma.
