Obituary
George Kenneth Meinheit was born in
Belvidere, IL to Helen (Artz) & George Fredrick Meinheit, on October 27, 1943. He attended Belvidere schools where he graduated in 1961.
He married his best friend, Glenda, in 1964 and they adopted their only daughter, Melisa, in 1973.
He was an avid lover of animals especially the family dogs and especially the three brothers, Duffy, Logan & Bryce! Ken loved flying throughout his career! No matter the destination he loved the trip. Since his retirement from flying, he was always busy with his
favorite organizations and charities ... South Tulsa Community House, Mended Hearts, Companion Dog School, Oklahoma Westie Rescue, and the entire Tulsa community!
Both parents proceeded him in death and he is survived by his wife, Glenda (Edmison) Meinheit of Tulsa, OK and one daughter, Melisa (Donald) Echols of Stillwater, OK.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the South Tulsa Community House, Westie Rescue.
