Gary Baldwin

Gary Lee Baldwin was born July 27, 1952 in Kansas City, MO to Galen and Marguerite "Bunch" (Miller) Baldwin. A loving father and grandfather, he left to be with our Lord on Monday, December 19, 2011.

Gary was loved by everybody who knew him. He was an easy going, happy-go-lucky person that never stressed about anything. He loved his boys very much and his two little grandbabies. He loved golf, OU football ("Go Sooners"), music, and cheeseburgers. He had a great personality and loved to joke around and be light hearted. Even after he lost his leg he got asked one time while eating at a buffet if he had a hollow leg and he replied "why yes I do" and he popped off his prosthetic and put it on the table. Gary had a faith in God that grew stronger in his later years. He will forever be missed and loved, but we know that now you are standing in the presence of a loving Savior and are not in any more pain and you have your leg back.

Gary was preceded by his parents and his brothers, Dr. Guy and Galen Baldwin. He is survived by his three sons, Blake, Beau and Stephen; his two grandchildren, Levi and Addison; and his sister, Belinda Baldwin.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday at Woodland Acres Baptist Church.
