Frances Jean Potter

Frances Jean Potter was born August 9, 1933 in Hoffman, OK in a railroad section house and passed away July 8, 2021 in Conroe, TX at the age of 87.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; bridge builder, Lorenzo Dow (Rance) Potter and Mary (McCarty) Potter; her brother, Rance Dow Potter; her sister, Mabel Joan Vandeventer (the recepient of the J. Howard Pew National Award for Heroism and Bravery in 1978); and her sister, Shirley Karen Potter. She is survived by her brother, Harry James Potter; and many first and second cousins.

Frances retained her Certified Public Accountant status and was a lifetime member of the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants. Frances, most of all, enjoyed helping others.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 15th at Park Grove Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Life Senior Services, 5950 E. 31st Street, Tulsa, OK 74135. This organization was an indispensable help with Frances’ sister, Shirley Potter.
