Erwin Swetnam

Erwin L. Swetnam, 89, of Tulsa, passed from this life on Monday, April 26, 2010. Erwin was born on January 2, 1921 in Jacksboro, TX to Hobbson and Lavina (Roach) Swetnam. He served honorably in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He retired from General Motors as a supervisor and later worked in the boating industry in Rockport, TX. He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Mason Swetnam. He is survived by his wife, Dorsey, of the home; 2 daughters, Cynthia Hamilton, of Portland, OR and Sharron Provasi, of Valencia, CA; 2 sons, Erwin L. Swetnam, Jr., of Hood River, OR and Mark Swetnam, of Tulsa, OK; 1 sister, Mary Frances Robbins, of San Antonio, TX; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Graveside service 10:00 A.M. Thursday Memorial Park Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 11:00 A.M. held at Grace Church, 9610 S. Garnett, Tulsa, OK. Ninde Woodland Chapel 728-8500.
