We are so sorry for your loss! ErmaJean was such a great person with a wonderful sense of humor, she will live on in our memories forever.

I knew Erma Jean since Lisa & I were in high school. But I got to know her better later in our lives. My fondest memory of Erma Jean is when we 3 went to the fabric store to get quilt fabric. She was making Lisa a quilt and I was making my own. Although I sewed clothes very well, I'd never made a quilt. Erma Jean taught me how. I visited her several times for lessons and pointers. She gave me a cardboard folding cutting board & I thought it was awesome. I still have it and think of her every time I look at it. She will be very missed.

There's something in every day that reminds me of Gran. She's the reason I color my hair red, I can cook and sew and why it's important to me to keep an organized, clean house and a spotless car. She's the genetic source of my green thumb and in her honor, I will always have red buds, marigolds, crepe myrtles, a rose of Sharon or 2, hibiscus or morning glories in my garden. From this wonderful woman, I inherited my fierce independence, the ability to shoot well, an immense amount of patience, the grace to forgive others and the desire to always do the right thing. I will miss her dearly and look forward to a big hug when I'm called home by our Maker.

How happy we are to have met her! Had a wonderful time and lots of fun at Make My Day's together. She'll always be in our hearts...
