Obituary
Edward Kelly Biggs was born January 28, 1937 in Tahlequah, OK to Gerthal Bowman & Tommie Marie (Pyron) Biggs and passed from this life on May 16, 2018 at the age of 81.
Ed enjoyed his family and friends as much as anything in life and liked visiting with everyone he came in contact with. He graduated from Tracy High School in 1955 and on December 25, 1955 married the love of his life, Loretta Odle, he always called her "Retta", even until the very end. Ed drove a truck for Otasco and covered over 4 million miles, unloading by hand the merchandise inside. Greg and Jeff went with him every so often in the summer and learned how to drive, starting out just sitting on his lap and later even driving the tractor and trailer by themselves. When he wasn't working he got his private pilot’s license in the mid 60's and they loved flying to different places including a few trips to California to visit relatives. He let his sons control the plane every time they went with him and that was a special time they will always remember. Fishing and camping was a part of their life too, never passing up a chance to get out on the water. Ed and Loretta traveled the world in their later years and always had great stories to tell when they got home. His grandkids and great grandsons were a special delight and he always had a big smile when they were together. Dad taught us how to treat people and about life. He was a hero above all others!
Preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Kenneth Biggs and Bob Biggs, Edward is survived by his wife of 62 years, Loretta Lou (Odle) Biggs; his sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory Thomas & Debora Biggs and Jeff & DeeAnna Biggs; his sisters, Cathlee Singhurst and Deborah Romines; his grandchildren, Ryan & Jamye Biggs and Erin & Aaron Kern; and his great grandchildren, Luke Kern, Lane Kern and Grant Biggs.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 21, at the Tahlequah City Cemetery.

Ed I will miss you brother.One thing I can say is you had it all ! Traveled the world, wonderful wife, children,grand children and now great grand children. You have had success through out your life. Thanks to the family that raised you and loved you, you have had a wonderful ride keep going. Love you and will miss you untill we meet again . I just learned today of Ed's passing. My Dad, Roy Stephens, was Manager of the OTASCO Tulsa Warehouse for years and Ed was one of his drivers. Dad thought a lot Ed and his work ethic. Ed always spoke to my Mom, Evelyn, my Brother, David and myself at various OTASCO get-togethers we would attend throughout the years. The last time I saw Ed was at Mila Jo Evans' Memorial Service in Tulsa in March of 2017. He seemed so upset and grabbed my hand. I can't be certain, but I think he had had a stroke because he didn't speak. But I knew what he was feeling when he did grab my hand. Ed's family members are in my thoughts and prayers today. Ed will be sorely missed by many.

I remember my first airplane ride with Uncle Ed and my dad. Boy!!!!! was uncle Ed crazy but sure had a great time he always made me laugh he was full of Joyce to be around I could remember when I would get ready to say you know what uncle Ed and he would say I know I have a beautiful loving wife before I could open my mouth and yes he was right she is a lovely lady.you will be missed may you rest in peace until we meet again love you Uncle Ed

Ed was always fun to be around, in high school and at our reunions, and he was a good and basically cheerful man who seemed to maintain his sense of humor even after he had his stroke. Many of us didn't even realize that he had a stroke at all. He will be missed! Arlene
