Edna Harper

Edna Mae Harper was born on November 14, 1920 in Broken Arrow, OK to Roy and Lela (Kincade) Bryan. Edna passed from this life on Saturday, April 2, 2011 in Jenks, OK at the age of 90 years. Edna and Clarence Milton (Bud) Harper were married January 16, 1948. They made their home in Tulsa and raised three children, Beverly, Steven and Bryan. She and Bud operated their own business, Harper Plumbing, for 20 years. In addition, they gave generously of their time and attention to the Tulsa Center for the Physically Limited. After retiring in 1985, Bud and Edna moved to their lake home in Spavinaw OK, where they continued their volunteer work with the Spavinaw Community Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud, her daughter, Bev, and a sister, Edith Mitchell. Edna is survived by two sons, Steve Harper and his wife Karen, of Tulsa, OK; Bryan Harper and his wife Kim; grandchildren, Will, Kate and Matt, all of Jenks, OK; and a brother, Bernard Bryan, of Texas. Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel.
